The next three tabs Diplomacy, Notes and Secrets are probably specific because, I chose Organisation. These two tabs could easily fit together. Paying members could open the article for certain user groups, or provide a direct link. The Access tab has public and nothing else to choose, as explained above. The Navigation tab has some options for tagging and linking the article, so you can have next. Interesting idea.Ī checkbox to display the authors name at the top. Subheading to appear directly beneath the headingĪuthor's notes - to be displayed at the top of articles section. Design.įirst, there is an input for css classes, which I cannot choose, because I'm not a paying member.Ī place for an Excerpt (short blurb for lists)ĭisplay title checkbox, which I cannot use and do not understand This one has a "Create a new article button." Front companys, access to major hero teams, great predictive power. Regular meetings for the five members, I guess.Īssets. People with hoods.Īn input for a demonym. Do I have to add some somewhere else? In that case an "Add one now" button would be good.Īn input for alternative names. Then a dropdown for a flag or crest, which has no options. I stick with "Secret, Occult", although the Occult only kinda fits. So that leaves me basic.Īnother dropdown asks for a type. I want a secret society pulling strings in Halcyon City. I enter the organisation's name and go to tab 1.Ģ GM Notes on red background maybe they will be spoilers? Not sure.ģ A new menu bar allowing for certain subtypes: Basic - Geopolitical - Religious - Military (How are 18+ and Featured Article preferences?) So apparently, I should start with fifth tab, which is odd. The menu bars options are from left to right: Organisation - Design - Navigation - Access - Preferences - Diplomacy - Notes - Secrets There is also an input for the articles title at the top, which I didn't immediately see, because it's quite dark. There are checkboxes to (dis)allow comments, mark the article as 18+, mark the article as featured in stream. There is a menu bar which opens at Preferences. A category which I find curiously wide, considering how special some of the others are. Expected behavior would be that the dialogue switches. The buttons behave unexpectedly: When the dialogue belonging to one button is open, the other doesn't open. The other provides links corresponding to the category panels. One allows to quickly create an article, adding a template. On the bottom are two floating action buttons. On the right there are some gamified pointers like "Create a place", "Make it pretty". There is some order to the panels, which I cannot decipher. There are around 30 panels for creating different categories, including "Law (Meta/Physical)", "Language", "RPG Report", "Military Conflict", "Plot". The next page has a video, which thankfully doesn't autoplay. I add a descriptive sentence, link the Masks system in a dropdown and fire. But if everyone who plays Masks puts down Halcyon here, what is point of having a name? I decide to enter a personal perspective on Halcyon. Masks does play in Halcyon City, usually. I'm prompted to enter a name for the world, e.g. For testing, I'll dumb something from my last Masks campaign for now. I guess, things would have gone smoothly, if I just went forward and created a world, when so prompted, instead of navigating around. There is certainly room for improvement here. I can add these systems to my world, which I don't have. Under RPG Resources, there is a very extensive list of systems, including my favorites. There is also a tab RPG Resources in the nav bar now. Having enabled world building, the Dashboard tab now allows me to create a world again. On my profile I can enable world-building and player stuff.Īlso there are options to connect to Discord and allowing adult content. I cannot find the page the options anymore. Of course, the autoplaying video starts every time. The page for authors starts the same way. It asks me to create a world and informs me that private worlds are only for paying members. I reach a page that offers some options, whether I'm a GM, an author or player.
